  2. Thank you again to all the people that turned out for the second instalment of the Bored? Game! social meet.

    A great turnout and it was an amazing night where we played Betrayal at the House on the Hill followed by a D&D board game, Lords of Waterdeep.

    Many laughs (and drinks) were had and it was great to share so much fun with like minded people, not to mention to talk all things games related, share tips and experiences and also to look at each others games selections that were brought in.

    Thanks to Jonny & Lorraine @ The Swan Inn and all the bar staff for your continued support.

    This coming Monday (01.11.14) see's the second instalment of our monthly social night meets at the Swan Inn. Feel free to come down and bring some of your favourite games, join in a game, or just to simply watch some games being played. Real ale on tap and an open fire awaits in a warm friendly atmosphere.

    This coming December will see the release of the much anticipated X-Files board game.

    Join the most famous paranormal investigation team of all time! In The X-Files, players take on the role of Mulder, Scully, and the X-Files team as they work to uncover global conspiracies and threats while going up against various members of the Syndicate.

    Players will work together to traverse across the U.S. searching for clues and closing investigations. Attempting to foil them at all times is the player controlled Cigarette Smoking Man, who will be working to manipulate investigations and obfuscate clues. With game play focusing on the hit series' pool of iconic characters and most popular "Monster of the Week." In game terms, 1-4 agent players team up against one opponent who controls the Smoking Man and his nefarious network.

    The X-Files board game will focus on material from the first three seasons of the television series, giving fans a chance to start from the beginning of the phenomenon.

    The X-Files Game is sure to be a hit!
